Photo Locator |

The Mac OS version of the Photo Locator App is free. To use it you only have to purchase the iPhone app.
To match the locations with the pictures use the desktop app. It will connect to your iPhoto Library and add the GPS tags.
After you exported your locations database, use the Options->Add database menu to insert the database in Photo locator. You will see the locations groupped by text labels in the left tree. In each location you will see the days for which Photo Locator saved data.
To add pictures you can either add a Folder or a picture with the Add folder button, or you can choose from the drop down menu one of your iPhoto albums.
After you add location information to your photos, you can import them in iPhoto or you can upload them to Flickr or Picasa to see the locations on a map.
Download Photo Locator for Mac. Unzip it and copy the app to your Applications folder.
